Lauv, aka Ari Leff, is a musician and producer with a huge passion for mental health and mental health awareness. Working closely with his team as well as Microsoft, Listen transformed his My Blue Thoughts box into an interactive website and touring experience. We designed the site with connection in mind, using AI to analyze user-submitted messages in text or speech across 8 supported languages, surfacing similarities and helping fans realize that they weren’t alone in their feelings.
This project spanned digital, physical, and interactive spaces, and turned My Blue Thoughts into a mental health support platform during the pandemic, offering mental health resources and artist discussions.
I was involved in every aspect of My Blue Thoughts, from initial ideation with the artist and brand partners, to UX copywriting, installation design, and campaign storytelling for brand, artist, and nonprofit partners.
