One of the biggest DJs in the world, Martin Garrix recently sought a closer connection with fans, and released a photo book called LIFE=CRAZY, capturing years of behind-the-scenes moments and performances. To celebrate this launch, Listen created the Kaleidoscope, an interactive installation at the Amsterdam Dance Event.
The Kaleidoscope used AI to analyze both photos from Garrix’s archive as well as fan-submitted snaps to find connections ranging from sentiment to photo composition and color. These images were then refracted and reflected in 3D within the Kaleidoscope, while a new Garrix track scored the experience.
I helped conceive of the original creative concept, as well as oversaw all campaign content capture and strategic roll-out both before and after the event in Amsterdam.
