To honor the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising, Listen partnered with nonprofit activists The Ally Coalition and St. Vincent on Feel the Pride, an immersive sound and light installation situated mere blocks from Stonewall. Guests at the installation and across Twitter were encouraged to answer the question “What does Pride mean to you?” By tweeting with #FeelThePride or using on-site terminals, guests shared their replies. Microsoft AI in the form of their Sentiment Analysis API analyzed the comments and transformed them into a burst of light and song – composed by St. Vincent.
I worked across all aspects of this installation: from initial ideation, to exhibition design and wayfinding, to campaign capture and cross-channel storytelling for Microsoft, The Ally Coalition, and St. Vincent.
